I co-founded Love2Care Devon in 2017 with my business partner David - who believed in me, when I didn't believe in myself. David, thank you for allowing me to see I was/am good enough.

 

Throughout my journey within Love2Care, I have come across some real challenges, and sometimes not knowing where or who to turn too. Management network meetings don't always allow for us to talk about the day to day operations, and sometimes we just find it hard to ask for help, or advice.

 

Sometimes we tell ourselves that we need to know it all, and what I strive to do, is learn from others, and hope that there may be someone listening who benefits too.

 

What I do know is, whilst we have policy and procedures, we are working with people, and sometimes it's not always a one fits all solution, in which case...

who do you go too?

This is where I hope that, through my podcasts, I can share some of the day to day dilemmas, as well as knowledge, experience and learning / reflections. Knowing that care is evolving, I hope to engage other people's experiences / vocations, background, and to sit back with a cuppa, and openly discuss our truth. Who knows what may come of this?!
